5 different curling techniques
- Ordinary vertical roll
This vertical curling is the most common and convenient curling method. The tool used is a curling bar with a small clip on the side.
When curling hair, put the middle part of the hair between the clip and the curling rod, wrap the hair tail on the curling rod, clamp it, and then rotate the curling rod in the direction to wind the hair from the middle to the hair root outside the curling rod.
This kind of curling hair is the best to master. Since both sides of the hair will be heated (compared with the straight cylinder curling rod without clips, which will be described later), it is convenient and fast to operate.
- Ordinary horizontal roll
This method of curling hair is somewhat outdated and not very suitable for long hair, because it uses a curling rod to clamp the hair tail first, and then rotates the curling rod in the direction of the hair root, so the heat of the hair tail will be more than that of the middle part and the hair root.
It will not only damage the hair quality of the hair tail, but also make the curl disappear faster, that is, the hair root is flat on the scalp, but the hair tail is exploded.
- Classic Hollywood curls
If you like the blonde look in classic Hollywood, but feel that the curl disappears too quickly, you can try curling stick and clip together to make waves.
The method is to clamp the hair horizontally from the middle of the hair (the direction is the same as the second one), and then rotate the curling rod to clamp the hair tail. The advantage of this is that if the hair tail is clamped first, the damage to the hair tail will be more serious. Therefore, for the sake of protecting the hair, we clamp the middle with the clamp to prevent the hair tail from being too heated.
After the hair is clamped, roll it up again by hand and clamp it with a clamp until the temperature drops completely. This can prevent gravity from straightening the curl when the hair is still warm.
- Thread curly hair
First twist the hair slightly with your fingers, and then wrap it on the curling rod for modeling. Since the hair turns in circles when heated, the effect is the shape of thread.
This method is also suitable for people with autogenous curls. Compared with the straight splint, it can more gently eliminate autogenous curls and bring you a different degree of curl.
- Vertical roll + thread roll
This kind of curly hair is very suitable for people with long hair or little hair. First, roll 1 / 3 of the hair on the curling rod from the hair root with the ordinary vertical curling method, then hold the hair tail with your fingers, and directly wind the rest of the hair on the curling rod. The middle to the hair root is the ordinary vertical curling, and the hair tail is the thread curling effect.
